How long does resurfacing take?
The process can take from 1 hour to several hours depending on repairs that have to be done. Whether or not the bathtub needs to be stripped ( if it’s peeling ) or if the finish is simply worn.
When can the bathtub be used?
The bathtub can be used the same day. Unlike other companies who tell you, you cannot use the bathtub for up to 3 days, we use the highest quality material so you can use the bathtub the same day.
How long does resurfacing last?
We give you a five year warranty. The resurfacing with proper care should last 15-20 years.The care instructions listed on the web site are the same care instructions you would receive with the purchase of a new bathtub.
What color can you resurface my bathtub in?
Any color you wish. We carry white or Koehler Almond in stock. For a small additional fee we can have any color you wish matched.
Can my wall or bathroom floor tiles be resurfaced?
Yes we can resurface them in a solid color or a stone-like finish. This is a simple and inexpensive way to up date your bathroom.
My drain and overflow cap look horrible. Is there anything you can do to those?
We offer a new fit lift and push drain kit with new overflow cap. This drain kit is epoxied over your existing drain. There is no need to call expensive plumbers, with the chance of breaking pipes with stubborn drains that won’t come out.
I can buy a bathtub for $100. So why resurface?
Yes you can buy a bathtub for a $100. but first of all you’re buying the cheapest bathtub out there. You would be lucky if it lasts 3 years. Then you have the expensive of putting it in.You need a tile guy, the bathtub has a lip that goes under the first row of tiles. The floor tiles will probably crack next to the bathtub when removing the old one. Next can you find the same tiles that are a match to your existing tiles? Next you need a plumber in install all the plumbing fixtures, and hope the pipes don’t break when your removing the old bathtub, or installing the new drain. This $100 bathtub will take several weeks to install and a thousand in labor and tile work. That’s without any major plumbing issues. You’re also adding to our landfills.
